The 2010 Lakeside Painting 8th Annual Benefit Open

Eight years ago, Lakeside Painting held the first Lakeside Painting Open, a scramble tournament on Eagle Spring’s 9-hole golf course for employees, friends and family to enjoy a day of food, drink and fun. But in 2005 the tragedy of the Hurricane Katrina disaster inspired Lakeside Painting’s President Joe Pangburn to raise some money for the hurricane’s victims. Thus was born the Lakeside Painting Annual Benefit Open. The last four Opens benefited a number of causes, including Habitat for Humanity and Breast Cancer Research at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

The 2010 Lakeside Painting’s 8th Annual Benefit Open will donate all proceeds to the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, which supports the foundations of St. Joseph’s, St. Francis, Elmbrook Memorial and Franklin hospitals.

The proceeds will support research into Vascular Diseases & Neurological Disorders, which touch all of us on a daily basis through: Blood Clots, Strokes, Cavernous Hemangiomas, Aneurysms, High-Blood Pressure and Blood Disorders, to name just a few.

This year’s Open is held In Memory of Donald Smith and Jim Kau, and In Honor of Warren & Betty Pangburn.

The Benefit Open will be held Saturday, Auguste 28th, 2010, rain or shine, at Eagle Springs Golf Resort, which is located at W352 S10355 Touhy Road, Eagle, WI 53119.
